Project Implementation
Renewable energy has become a key strategy for a just energy transition, enabling communities, businesses, and users to generate their own electricity from renewable sources. These projects not only enhance the resilience of the electricity system but also reduce costs and emissions, decentralizing access to clean energy.
At IDEA, we develop strategies and tools that facilitate the penetration of renewable energy in Mexico, providing solutions based on technical analysis and innovative financial models, while incorporating a gender perspective and promoting social inclusion.
Our main lines of action include:
Financial Mechanisms: We design financing schemes that facilitate investment in distributed generation, ensuring sustainable and accessible models for communities and businesses.
Regulation: We evaluate and propose regulatory improvements that encourage the adoption of distributed generation, ensuring its efficient integration into the electricity system.
Planning: We design planning tools to support the energy transition across the territory.
Project Structuring and Implementation: We develop methodologies and strategies for the planning, execution, and support of renewable energy projects, optimizing their technical, legal, and financial viability, and promoting various governance schemes for the benefit of communities.
